General Needs Tenants – Pet Policy Consultation 2026
Overview
Castle Point Borough Council is reviewing its approach to pets in General Needs Council housing and would like to understand tenants’ views and experiences.
The consultation should take approximately 7 to 10 minutes to complete. You do not need to own a pet to take part
Why your views matter
Your feedback will help the Council understand the needs, views and experiences of tenants before any future decisions are made.
We want to ensure that any future policy or service changes are practical, fair and responsive to tenants’ needs, while taking into account both the potential benefits and any concerns that may arise.
Your responses will also help the Council identify any support, safeguards or arrangements that may be needed to ensure tenants’ needs can be met effectively in the future.
