Overview

Choose Local is a free business directory available to Castle Point businesses, helping them to promote their offers and services. Home - Choose Local

The website was launched in 2021, as part of the post-Covid-19 work to rebuild our high-streets and offers a business listing directory for Castle Point based businesses. It has subsequently been developed to include local events and social media pages. 

In addition to listing businesses and events we have also developed a calendar of campaigns, linked to national awareness campaigns, to help promote our businesses be they retail, service providers, constructors and a whole lot more.  

The site is owned and managed by Castle Point Council. It was previously outsourced to an agency to help set up and develop, and was taken in-house from March 2025. We are keen to hear from and work with the local business community in Castle Point, to make sure Choose Local works for them.
