Castle Point Active Wellbeing Strategy: Schools

Overview

We want your school to play a part in shaping the future of sport, physical activity and active wellbeing in Castle Point.

Castle Point Borough Council is developing a new Active Wellbeing Strategy to support more local people to be more active.

The new Strategy will shape the future provision of sport, leisure, physical activity and active wellbeing facilities and services across Castle Point. It will aim to ensure these services better meet community needs and improve the long-term health and wellbeing of all residents.

Consultation with local schools is vital to the development of the new Strategy. We want to better understand what we can do to promote more positive wellbeing outcomes for school pupils, staff and the wider community.

We would be grateful if you could complete this survey on behalf of your school.

Why your views matter

Your feedback will help the Council understand the facilities schools have, how school facilities are used, what barriers children and young people face in becoming more active and what support schools may need in the future.

Your response will help shape priorities for future sport, leisure, physical activity and active wellbeing provision across Castle Point.
