Pride of Place (Canvey Island) - Local Business Survey

Overview

In March 2024, Canvey Island was selected by the Government as a recipient of £20million of regeneration funding, over 10 years, as part of the Pride in Place programme. 

The Pride of Place funding programme has three strategic objectives:  

• Thriving Places 
• Stronger Communities 
• Taking Back Control 

To deliver this funding, a Neighbourhood Board has been established to represent local people and prepare a Regeneration Plan and vision which outlines local priorities and proposed interventions.   

This survey, of local businesses, is one part of the Board’s community engagement efforts to gain insight into how to best meet local priorities with the intervention options available.
